Painting Process:

With over 40 years of interior painting expertise, our painting team knows exactly how to handle your painting project with outstanding speed and high quality.

Step 1 – Choosing your Colors:

Before we start, you will have to choose your paint colors.  If you would like to stick with your existing wall paint color, we can easily get the sample from your walls using an Evia Painting technique.  We can then have any paint store match the color perfectly, the finish, and the type of paint using their special paint sample computer.

Step 2 – Protect the Area:

After furniture is moved to the middle of the room and all pictures and decorative items are removed from your walls, we cover your floors with drop cloths and cover your furniture with painter’s plastic.  Evia Painting takes a lot of pride in taking care of their customers with every detail.

Step 3 – Prepare the Surfaces

Our experienced painting team goes to extraordinary measures to fill every nick, hole, or crack on your walls.  If there are stains, we use the proper stain blocking primer that kills the stain forever.  We scuff sand any and all uneven surfaces including loose or old paint.  This creates the perfect surface for painting.  When dealing with more glossy paints, we do a spot primer to all areas that been patched before applying any finish paint.

Step 4 – Apply Fresh Paint

After all areas from the previous step are primed, we apply premium quality paints for a uniform finish.  There are multiple finish options including flat, matte, eggshell, satin, semi-gloss, and high gloss.  Before choosing, we at Evia Painting will explain all of the benefits and each paint finish with you.

Step 5 – Clean Up

Depending on the pain product used, drying time can be from 15 minutes to 3 hours.  You will never need to vacate your home while this is taking place.  The Evia Painting team will remove all painting materials, tools, and all coverings.  We do a thorough sweep and moping of the floors to collect any dust and/or debris that may have escaped our drop cloths on the floors.  We then proceed to move all of your furniture back to the exact spot from where it was originally.

Step 6 – Customer Inspection:

After our team members do a double and triple check off of the job, we then ask you take a walk around and give it your own review. Once we walk away, please do not hesitate to call us back for any questions or future painting projects.  All that we ask at the end of every job is for a Google review and or Facebook review of our company.
